My name is Amy! I am so glad you’re here. After 8 years in the wedding photography biz, I still jump up with glee any time an enquiry comes through. I get so excited to meet couples and dream about their wedding days with them. So thank you for being here!

I have been married for 7 years now to my darling husband Chris and we have two little kiddos. They are my why! Aside from the love of the ‘job’, they are my motivators and greatest cheerleaders. If you’ve been following About Time Co for a while you may be wondering ‘why is this just an about Amy? Doesn’t Chris shoot?’. Yes, he used to. Since our family grew, we decided to make a few changes. :)

I am a lover of photo taking… not so much being in the photos. I love the result of having photos of myself, our wedding and our family… but I get a bit nervous about the process. And I’m pretty sure a lot of people relate! We want all of these memories captured, but we feel super awkward and uncomfortable. I remember that when I’m working and I make the process as fun, carefree, candid and relaxed as possible! So if you're nervous about being photographed, don’t worry. I got you.

Amy and Chris from About Time Co are absolutely amazing!! They are easy going and make you feel so relaxed as if there aren’t any cameras around at all. Sheng and I just wanted to say a huge thank-you for helping make our wedding a fortnight ago such a wonderful day! You were so enthusiastic, professional, and easy to work with, and although Sheng and I are usually very uncomfortable having our photos taken, you really helped us relax and lose our self-consciousness so that we could get some beautiful shots. Amy and Chris photographed our wedding recently and were a joy to work with. Their communication in the lead up to the day was fantastic and they were always quick to respond to any query we had.   • How do I get comfortable in front of the camera?

    Let us tell you, we meet far more people that feel uncomfortable in front of a camera than comfortable. We hate it, too. It’s awkward, right? We make it our mission for it to not be awkward. Posing is a naughty word in our work. We love movement, actions and real moments. We create space for genuine feels, so no stiffness holding a pose! Meeting your photographers and building a connection is definitely an important step, too. It’s much more comfortable being photographed by a friend than a total stranger.

  • Do you offer videography?

    We do now! A few years ago we photographed Requelle’s wedding. We built a beautiful friendship with her and her husband Mark and they joined the wedding industry as videographers. We have worked along side each other for many years. We adore them, gel beautifully, and have a very similar approach. We are so excited to say that they have recently joined our team!

  • Okay, we want to book you. What’s next?

    Let us know what package you’re after (full day photo, two togs etc), and we will send through an invoice & contract. We require a non-refundable 25% deposit to lock in the date and a signed contract.
    After that, we tell you when we need something like times & addresses. You can put photography out of your mind! We try and make your engagement season as chill as possible.

  • How do prints work? They’re not in your packages…

    Prints & albums are all an ‘after the fact’ event. When you receive your galleries digitally, you will have access to an online store connected with our professional print lab. The quality is perfection!
